Eligibility Criteria – B.ED Course Details

It is very important for the students to know about the complete eligibility criteria for admission. According to the NCTE rules, the eligibility criteria for the Bachelor of Education is same across all the states, universities and colleges. However, there may be some difference in the subject combinations offered by different institutions.

1: The candidate must have pursued a Bachelors degree in BA (Bachelors of Arts)/ B.Sc (Bachelors of Science)/ B.Com (Bachelors of Commerce)or an equivalent from a recognised institute.

2: The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% with all the subjects put together in the qualifying degree.

3: The candidates who have pursued graduation in Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) with 55% minimum aggregate are also eligible to apply for admission.

B.ED COURSE DURATION :

B.ED Course Duration after 2015 is 2 years. As per New Education Policy 2019, b.ed duration is supposed to stretched to 4 years prog but it will take time as neither syllabus is finalized not any law is passed for this change.

The specialization subject or stream of pursuance by a particular student prior to the pursuance of a degree course determines the choice of subjects that he or she is allowed to teach.

For students who have pursued Arts stream, the choice of subjects of instruction is vastly constricted to the following:

B.ED COURSE FEE

Rs. 43,500 to 48,500 Per year for Most of the Universities in Delhi/NCR.

BED ADMISSION 2024

- Eligibility : Student having minimum 50% marks or higher (either in Graduation or Post Graduation from any UGC recg university) is eligible to take admission in BED. There is no specific age limit to get enroll in this Course.

Photocopies of 10th, 12th & graduation/post graduation mark-sheet/certificate.
photocopy of Adhaar card.
4 passport size photos.

Original Migration Certificate of highest qualification.

Admission Process :

Direct Admission in B.ED college in Delhi / NCR will be on merit basis depends/vary on diff colleges merit list. Exam Schedule :Exams starts generally in the month of June in all the universities in haryana and practicals take place usually in the month of July.
